8 is a number from the middle ages that represents the resurrection

So going off boyds early work and the chaosmos exhibition I'm speculating that hes going to play on another layer of the term "Strength in Numbers".

He uses 8 as a numerical suggestion about what one of the main themes are about. Rebirth and emergence. Emergence as in evolutionary and biological model that internet often uses.

Check this for sheer quality of language -- Theres not many Boyd's out there.

Doing music videos must madden him.

Any1 notice on the desk theres the calender which says November in French then at end of the vid where it seems like its daylight the calender says Marze or marzo so I'm guessing this is March.

So this gives us a sense of the rebirth theme. Moving from darkness to light. The middle being artifical light - as if its a glimmer of hope. A room whose surrounding location is in darkness but via technology we able to light a small space.

Is this the refering to our journey / trailhead?
