8 is a number from the middle ages that represents the resurrection

So going off boyds early work and the chaosmos exhibition I'm speculating that hes going to play on another layer of the term "Strength in Numbers".

He uses 8 as a numerical suggestion about what one of the main themes are about. Rebirth and emergence. Emergence as in evolutionary and biological model that internet often uses.

might of been a release date. The album could of been moved forward to june from august. So it could of been 8, 08.
