In Sarg tmt Layer 3 we heard a female (another character? Boyd's gf? Crying or Very sad ) who puts Boyd in contact with Lain. Lain asks about the project and Boyd sets it up.
Is this the refering to our journey / trailhead?

White Calf has 3 episodes of Serial Experiments Lain displayed. Each of the episodes is refered to as Layers.

The only episodes shown lead upto Layer 3. This is significant.
